Testimonials (Parents, students and teachers)
Philip has become more sociable and vocal after attending Canossaville Preschool. Before he started school in January last year, he barely had any words. Seeing him speak in sentences now is a very big improvement to me.The passion of the teachers, the holistic one-stop team for those with hearing impairment and the accessibility to a speech therapist to assess students in need are attributes unique to Canossaville.
Philip has progressed tremendously in the last 1.5 years since attending Preschool. I cannot thank the teachers enough as I never expected him to be able to catch up verbally and socially. I’ve recommended a few of his friends to the school when they were thinking whether to switch schools.

My child has learnt to be more empathetic and loving with members of his age group and loves the company of his peers. He has also learned more about the Catholic faith. The teaching principles of the school as well as the loving and caring environment cultivated by every member of staff at the school sets it apart from the other preschools.
It is a loving and caring environment for children to grow up in. Every staff is patient, caring and loving towards the children. Almost every morning during check-ins, any teacher will assist in coaxing a child into class regardless of whether the child is in their class or not. And they do it patiently as well. They know every child’s name.

My children have improved in their ability to learn since joining Canossaville Preschool. Its Catholic spirituality makes it very unique. When Natalia was hospitalised early this year, the teachers (past and present) showed tremendous love and care for her, through words and deeds. Can’t thank them enough!
If you are looking for a holistic preschool education with a spirituality input, Canossaville is a choice school!

My child’s inclination towards the Chinese language is much more pronounced after attending Canossaville Preschool with Lu Laoshi.
My wife and I liked the equal-opportunity learning environment for hearing impaired students and hearing-aid-free students alike. We agree that this is a very good social environment for all children.
Canossaville Preschool staff are engaged, caring and professional. While still maintaining a curriculum of learning and development, they’ve also managed to create the type of safe and fun environment you would completely trust your child to be immersed into.
We realised during this Circuit Breaker period that she’s grown very attached to her friends and teachers, even though our daughter has only been enrolled in the half-day programme for about three months.
Almost every day, she exhorts her family members to take turns playing the role of her various teachers, Ms Katrina, Lu Laoshi, Ms Gertrude, Ms Rebecca, etc., while she and her soft toys will be the rest of her classmates.
A word of thanks to the teachers. It shouldn’t have to take a global pandemic to amplify the importance of teachers in the lives of our children – let’s hope we don’t forget that when we return to some semblance of normalcy.

Since joining Canossaville, Om has developed the ability to adapt to routines and has vastly improved in his gross motor skills. I enjoy the fact that the school is on the grounds of a primary school. It gives him an early insight of what is to come and also allows him to enjoy the great outdoor spaces that the schools share.
Also enjoy the concerts that the kids get to put up for families. It’s always heartwarming to watch the young children come together with music and dance. The hall has a great stage to cultivate Om the performer! 😁 The nurturing environment created by the teachers and all the supporting staff really hits home to the heart! It is like a big extended family especially in the first days of school for Om to be exposed to.
It was like a warm blanket to comfort him and help him grow to be the curious and caring little boy he is today. A special praise for Om’s teachers and support staff for so swiftly coming up with these home-based learning programs during this CB period.
The activities were enjoyable to do and helped keep some form of routine in the day for Om. The Zoom check-in classes were a great effort and he really enjoyed being able to see his friends. It also gave me a great insight into his classrooms.

Although he is quiet in nature, my child has been able to better express himself and become more independent for his age. He is also physically stronger, enjoys running and has begun demonstrating a never give up attitude.
There are plenty of interactions between parents and teachers. The teachers are committed to listen and help the children and us on this journey.

My child has become enthusiastic about writing. Canossaville is special in the way that its teachers display the love and role-modelling of values, which is so important for preschool children. When I first visited the school many years ago, I was pleasantly surprised by how hearing-impaired children were integrated into the pre-school.

My son has become more interactive and proactive since joining the preschool. It’s Catholic nature and its inclusivity make Canossaville unique.
